The Subic Metro Executive Lions Club (SMELC) distinguished itself through active participation in the 62nd Orient and South East Asia Lions (OSEAL) Forum, hosted in Sapporo, Japan, from October 23 to 26, 2025.

A delegation comprising sixteen (16) SMELC members represented the club at this prestigious international convention, embodying the core values and dedication inherent in the spirit of Lionism.

    International Fellowship and Pin Exchange: A significant and time-honored tradition, the exchange of Lions pins, served as a powerful symbol of unity and global fraternity. SMELC members actively engaged in this activity, successfully establishing new connections and reinforcing international relationships committed to service.

• Global Networking: Delegates leveraged the opportunity to network with fellow Lions from diverse regions worldwide, including a substantial contingent from the Philippines. This social and professional interaction, set against the scenic backdrop of Sapporo, further solidified their commitment to the global mission of Lions Clubs International.

• Leadership Development with the International President: A critical session included the Meeting of Club Presidents, where Lions Clubs International President A.P. Singh delivered an address. His insights focused on strategies for cultivating vibrant, active, and service-driven Lions clubs, emphasizing the necessity of engagement, passion, and cohesive unity among leaders to maximize community impact.

    The OSEAL Forum 2025 proved to be an exceptionally insightful and motivating experience for the SMELC delegation, providing an expanded understanding of Lionism as a monumental global force centered on service, leadership, and compassion.

Through their successful participation, the Subic Metro Executive Lions Club has demonstrably reinforced its adherence to the Lions’ timeless motto—"We Serve"—with invigorated energy. The club's sustained involvement beyond national borders exemplifies its unwavering commitment to the genuine spirit of global service and fellowship.
