Feeding Hope, Celebrating Ability: SMELC Hunger Service Project
In line with Lions Clubs International’s observance of Hunger Service Week from January 3–11, 2026, the Subic Metro Executive Lions Club (SMELC) successfully conducted its Hunger Service Project on January 9, 2026 for 67 Children with Disabilities—Special Needs Education (SNED) learners of Olongapo City National High School, Olongapo City, as beneficiaries.








Crossing Seas to Serve: SMELC Reaches Fisherfolk and Families in Need in Sitio Sampaloc
November 18, 2025 - After a committed sea travel to reach this far-flung community, SMELC, together with the Philippine Navy and ZAMECO II Castillejos, devoted an entire day to serving and uplifting the residents of Sitio Sampaloc, Cawag, Subic, Zambales. Truly, no distance is too great when it comes to service.

Subic Metro Executive Lions Club (SMELC), in collaboration with ZAMECO II Castillejos, proudly spearheaded Service Project for our Indigenous young learners from Kinder to Grade 6 at Baliwet Elementary School and United Nations Women’s Aeta School (UNWAS) in Sta. Fe, San Marcelino, Zambales.

Compassion Without Borders: SMELC Brings Aid to Earthquake Survivors in Managase, Borbon, Cebu
In the wake of the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Cebu on September 30, 2026, the Subic Metro Executive Lions Club (SMELC) promptly mobilized efforts to provide much-needed relief to the affected residents of Managase, Borbon.

Spreading Love Through Service: Subic Metro Executive Lions Club (SMELC) Kicks Off September with Outreach to Aeta Youth
Subic Metro Executive Lions Club proudly kicked off September with a significant Community Service initiative, reaching out to almost 200 Aeta students and their teachers at Kanaynayan Community School in San Pablo, Castillejos. This impactful outreach was conducted in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Castillejos and ARA J Gators.

Hands That Serve, Hearts That Care: A Humanitarian Mission for Our Elders
On our third month of the “Love Thy Elders” Service Project, the Subic Metro Executive Lions Club proudly served 57 senior citizens at ARA J Building. This ongoing initiative reaffirms our deep commitment to humanitarian service, providing care, compassion, and tangible support to our elderly community members.
